A Memorable Morning at the Park

Just because it’s summer doesn’t mean we don’t plan get-togethers with DAOF families and staff. Our July Elementary Park Meetup in Jacksonville turned out to be a wonderful morning filled with fun. Families, students, and staff came together to enjoy the beautiful weather and connect with one another.

An unexpected treat made the day even more special—a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by a local fraternity. The fraternity unveiled a new little free library at the park, adding a charming spot for book lovers to share and enjoy reading. It was heartwarming to see one of our students exploring the library, picking out books, and even contributing some of their own.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the day so special. We’re already looking forward to our next gathering and can’t wait to see everyone again soon!
