Before coming to Digital Academy of Florida, my journey with autism was difficult (I was bullied, teased, and more), but now, thanks to all the support I’ve received, I view autism as my superpower. Since transitioning to DAOF, I have found passion through golf; being an entrepreneur through my own business, Spectrum Golf; giving back to my community and other kids; and sharing my journey of autism across the country and around the world. I couldn’t have achieved all that I’ve done without the support and flexibility of DAOF.

This school transformed my future. I switched from attending a traditional school to … DAOF, and their teaching method gave me hope. While my grades had always been good, I felt like I wasn’t very smart. However, with DAOF, I found that I could retain information much better and even participate more than before. Digital Academy of Florida has given my daughter a way to blossom and grow into who she is after she was bullied at her former school. DAOF allows her to explore different hobbies and things that she likes and hang out with friends and talk and not have to worry or fear what’s going to happen at school. The one-to-one teaching approach that the school offers provides her the opportunity to ask questions and communicate with her teachers directly with no judgment. The school has really allowed her to excel.
