I do better in online school because there’s not as much distraction. I get to focus on the subjects that I want to focus on now. And I get to go at my own pace, which is amazing.

The interaction with my son’s teachers is daily. If he misses a Class Connect, I get an email, I get text messages, I get phone calls, if not on a daily basis, definitely a weekly basis. We get snapshots to let us know what his grades look like. I’m able to log in and see if an assignment was due today by 4 PM.

While my grades had always been good, I felt like I wasn’t very smart. However, with DAOF, I found that I could retain information much better and even participate more than before. Digital Academy of Florida has given my daughter a way to blossom and grow into who she is after she was bullied at her former school. DAOF allows her to explore different hobbies and things that she likes and hang out with friends and talk and not have to worry or fear what’s going to happen at school. The one-to-one teaching approach that the school offers provides her the opportunity to ask questions and communicate with her teachers directly with no judgment. The school has really allowed her to excel.
